Wake The Nation: Our Challenge and Way Forward
We must address the very real spiritual crisis in America!! Decades of silencing spiritual life in American culture has created an epidemic of hopelessness in our adults, youth, and their families. Increased rates of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, suicide, relational dysfunction, lack of grit, loss of identity and purpose, are robbing this generation of healthy outcomes that spiritual life brings. Informed science shows that a strong spiritual core, coupled with a personal faith/belief, shared in community with others, is the most predictive indicator of human flourishing. We must take bold steps to restore our Nation's spiritual heritage, beliefs, and values.
We partner with faith-based endorsers, who provide qualified chaplains and coaches who have the training, education, and experience to serve in a religiously pluralistic school environment. Chaplains and coaches care for the spiritual needs of all people regardless of their faith background or those who have none at all. USFCN partners with other faith-based organizations like LUKE, the National School Chaplains Association, The Warriors Journey, Mighty Oaks, and American Association of Christian Counselors to bring holistic care to all Americans. This is not limited to but includes warfighters, veterans, first responders, and their families our nation’s HEROES.
Our goal is to place credentialed chaplains and coaches in K-12 and all government institutions. Chaplains and coaches deliver powerful results in turning the tide of negative trends in our Nation. Impacted organizations are seeing increased teacher retention, stronger family relationships, increased graduation rates, reductions in bullying, violence, teen pregnancy, substance abuse, suicides, and disciplinary problems. Government organizations with chaplains and coaches have greater religious freedom, increased hope and work performance, sense of purpose, and a greater life outlook. When chaplains and coaches are integrated: teachers stay, students graduate, government employees thrive, families grow stronger, school and work cultures flourish.
We focus our efforts at bridging the spiritual-cultural gaps in federal, state, and local governments. We aim to ensure that appropriate care and consideration is given to all with respect to constitutionally guaranteed religious freedoms and liberties in the public square. Our commitment is to increase the reach and exposure of spiritual life and faith expression to strengthen the spiritual core of our Nation. Through collaboration, faith inspired and biblically grounded delivery of chaplains and coaches, we will grow this effort to spiritually transform and strengthen culture for present and future generations.
USFCN STATEMENT OF FAITH:
Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and his personal return in power and glory.
Salvation of lost and sinful man comes through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ.
Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
National School Chaplaincy Association (NSCA) results
NSCA’s international materials report the following results after chaplain programs had operated in schools for at least two years:

NSCA’s international experience reports that after two years of chaplain presence, 80% of participating schools reported positive results, including a 37% increase in high school graduation, decreases in teen pregnancy, violence, bullying, substance use, and disciplinary problems, and zero reported suicides.
Independent school-chaplaincy research has also found that 87% of school respondents observed a positive impact on students' sense of being valued, loved, and safe; 81% reported improved participation and belonging; 78% reported positive health effects; 75% reported stronger identity and purpose; and 69% reported positive effects on learning. Corporate chaplaincy organizations further report lower absenteeism and turnover, stronger morale, and improved employee support, although those corporate benefits have not yet been published as independently verified percentage improvements.

A University of Western Australia evaluation found that school personnel reported substantial positive effects from chaplaincy:

The report also found that 57% of respondents considered the chaplain’s effect on students' sense of being valued, loved, and safe to be “very considerable.”
These numbers represent the percentage of principals, teachers, support personnel, and other respondents who perceived a considerable or very considerable positive impact. They are not before-and-after percentage improvements in attendance, grades, health, or safety. Also, this evaluation concerned Australian school-chaplaincy organizations, not the U.S.-based National School Chaplain Association.
